Meet Dr. Liza

Liza Shevchenko, D.D.S., M.S.

Dr. Liza Shevchenko prepared for her career through studies at the University of Houston, where she graduated with honors and received her Bachelor of Science degree in Biology.

She then received her Doctor of Dental Surgery degree from The University of Texas Dental School in Houston, graduated with honors at the top of her class and was recognized as an outstanding graduate.

Earning scholastic awards both in achievement and research, she was accepted into an orthodontic residency at the University of Texas Dental School where she earned her Master of Science degree and certificate in Orthodontics

Dr. Shevchenko later completed a rigorous examination to become a Diplomate of the American Board of Orthodontics, the highest level of attainment in education, evaluation, excellence, and ethics. This accomplishment reflects her dedication to continuing education and professional excellence.

Her professional organization memberships include the American Orthodontic Association and the American Board of Orthodontics.

Sharing the same passion, both Dr. Shevchenko and her husband, Virgil, are Doctors in Dentistry. When she is not practicing orthodontics, Dr. Shevchenko loves spending time with her family and friends, and traveling around the world, learning about different cultures.

Dr. Shevchenko is a specialist that is focused on delivering high quality treatment following the highest standards of patient care and using the latest in cutting edge technology.
